Yes! This lightweight, friction-free formula was developed to work seamlessly under makeup with no pilling. The serum can also be used alongside other targeted serums in your routine.

What products would you pair this with?

For the ultimate Allies of Skin clarifying routine, we recommend using this product with our Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser, Molecular Saviour Probiotics Treatment Mist, Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment, and The One SPF 50 Invisible Sunscreen Gel in the morning. Can I use other acids with this serum, like your Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum?

Yes, you can! Especially if you have stubborn post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), the Mandelic Night Serum is a great addition to your routine. If you have very sensitive skin or aren’t used to using acids on a regular basis, we recommend starting by using the Mandelic Night Serum 2-3 times per week and building up to more frequent use if necessary. We do however recommend spacing usage of high-performance acids by using the Azelaic Clarifying Serum one day and the Mandelic Night Serum another day. We do not recommend using both together as the combination can increase skin sensitivity.

What's the difference between the Promise Keeper Nightly Blemish Treatment and this serum?

Promise Keeper Nightly Blemish Treatment is a treatment moisturiser that hydrates, soothes and brightens blemish-prone skin while reducing the appearance of breakouts. Azelaic & Kojic Advanced Clarifying Serum is a targeted treatment that addresses the 6 most stubborn facial concerns, such as blackheads, whiteheads or enlarged pores. It also diminishes the appearance of redness and uneven skin tone and brightens post-blemish marks. We recommend following up this serum with a moisturiser. Both products are great for people with acne-prone skin and make for an excellent nightly blemish-busting duo.

Can I use this product twice a day and also in the morning? Won’t I over-exfoliate my skin?

Azelaic Acid is a mild exfoliant, which is why this product is suitable for twice-daily use. For more sensitive skin types, start with using this serum once daily (either AM or PM). But please don’t forget to use sunscreen in the morning.

Can this serum help with hormonal breakouts?

Yes, the Azelaic & Kojic Advanced Clarifying Serum is effective in reducing breakouts, including hormonal acne. Its blend of ingredients like Azelaic Acid, Kojic Acid, and Hexylresorcinol helps target blemishes, calm redness, and prevent post-acne marks, making it suitable for managing hormonal flare-ups.

Is this serum safe to use around the eyes?

While this serum is formulated to be gentle, we recommend avoiding direct contact with the eye area. The skin around your eyes is more delicate, and this product contains exfoliating acids that may cause irritation if applied too closely.

How long will it take to see results?

This serum is clinically proven to achieve immediate benefits, such as brighter, less oiliness and improved hydration. However, for more noticeable improvements like reduced breakouts, faded post-blemish marks, and a more refined skin texture, it typically takes about 4-6 weeks of consistent use, and individual results can vary.

Amazing formula!

I bought this serum as soon as it launched! It's to soon to see results yet, but the formula is sooo light, I had to leave a first impressions feedback. I have quite an extensive routine so I enjoy products that work well together and can be layered without pilling. This is definitely one of them!

Best Azelaic consistency

I've been using Azelaic Acid for about 2 years, this serum is the best texture i have found. I've been trying it for about a week now, no issues. I was also very keen to add kojic acid to my routine, so a bonus that these are together in one serum. Long term use I cannot comment, but so far so good and its very enjoyable to use.

Great texture

The texture of this is wonderful compared to other Azelaic acid products I've tried. I've been using Azelaic for around 2 years and was keen to try kojic, so this serum is ticking all my boxes.

Best Azelaic consistency

I've been really enjoying this serum for a week now. I've been using Azelaic acid for around 2 years and it's a must have ingredient for me. The texture of this is so nice compared to others I've tried and I've been wanting to try kojic acid for a while so this product is ticking lots of boxes.
